OTO Medical

Physical altercations involve the possibility of serious injury.  Team OTO can help equip you with the necessary skills and tools to assist in potentially life-saving situations. 

Not a fighter?  Basic medical training can be invaluable in the event of someone choking on food, involved in a car accident, having an allergic reaction, or facing some other unforeseen situation. 

 

Learn to be your own first responder, and Own the Outcome.

We offer training in:

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation ("CPR") and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator ("AED")

    • Students successfully completing the Course will receive a Certificate from the American Heart Association

  • First Aid

    • Learn to recognize and care for emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illness, and extreme heat/cold

  • Stop the Bleed

    • ​Learn to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively through the proper use of tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, and other equipment

    • Students successfully completing the Course will receive a Certificate from the American College of Surgeons, Commitee on Trauma 

  • Tactical Emergency Casualty Care ("TECC")

    • An 8-hour Course designed for Law Enforcement Officers and non-EMS first responders

    • Well-suited for Security Teams

  • EpiPen Administration

    • Learn to confidently use Epinephrine autoinjectors for anaphylaxis

All medical training is led by credentialed Trainers, with personal involvement by Howie or Justin where warranted.  Credentials and bios for all of our Trainers will be provided before all Classes.

We provide both larger Courses open to the public, and smaller private Courses for individuals, couples, families or other groups.  Private training can take place be anywhere, from a social hall to the comfort and privacy of your own home.

* All participants in OTO Medical Classes must be at least 16 years old.  All participants in TECC Classes must be at least 18 years old and must provide evidence of successful completion of Stop the Bleed class.  All Participants in OTO Medical Classes under 21 years old must provide acceptable evidence of parental consent.
